Big Unit to retire?

Randy Johnson is scheduled to make an announcement at 1900est. Rumours are abound that he's set to retire.

Dammit.

Unit was of my fave pitchers ever, if not just for his complete disregard for wildlife. Or cameramen.

Or maybe just for memories such as his late game relief heroics in Game 7 of the 2001 World Series.

I have my fingers crossed that he's simply going to apologise for this and give it another year in San Francisco.
